We're four college friends from Kerala.

The four of us met in college. Like most college friendships, ours ran on late-night chai and big plans nobody wrote down. Then we graduated and scattered. Different cities, different industries, and for a while, just the occasional phone call.

But we kept in touch, and the same thing came up every time we met: someday we should build something together. Not because we wanted to start a company for its own sake. Working with people you trust, on a problem you care about, is rare. We knew that.

When senior care came up in one of those conversations, it stuck. All four of us know families, our own included, where the children live in another city or another country and the parents are getting older. We had watched relatives and neighbours search for a good care home with nothing to go on except hearsay and a few phone numbers. Visit after visit, with no way to know what to look for or who to believe.

So that became the project. GetCareIndia is the platform we wished those families had. We visit and verify care homes ourselves, publish what we find, and let families decide with real information.

We started in Kerala, our home state, because we believe trust has to be built locally before it can scale. We personally visit the care homes on our platform. We check licenses, walk through the facilities, talk to staff and to families. We don't rely on self-reporting, and we don't take shortcuts.
