Government Old Age Home, Kollam

Government Old Age Home, Kollam (locally known as the 'Inchavila' Government Vriddhasadanam) is a state-run residential old age home operated under the Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala. Located at Inchavila P.O, Anchalummoodu, Kollam, it provides free residential care to senior citizens aged 60 and above, with no admission fee or rent charged. The institution falls under the Chittumala Block and Thrikkaruva Panchayat.

The home was initially set up in rented premises in 1997 and moved into its own permanent building in 2007. The facility has 34 rooms including 23 attached-bath bedrooms, and accommodates around 84 to 100+ residents. Reported facilities include a library-cum-reading room, yoga room, recreation hall, group dining food court, mini gymnasium, memory clinic, in-house pharmacy, laboratory, physiotherapy room, landscaped garden and a conference hall.

The home was recognised with the State 'Vayo Sevana Puraskaram', awarded by the Social Justice Department for the best old age home in Kerala. The superintendent on record is Pradeep Kumar S.
