About KanCare Senior Care
KanCare Senior Care (operated by KanCare Assisted Living Solutions Pvt Ltd) is a residential assisted living and palliative care provider in Kochi, Kerala. Founded by Dr. Boby Sarah Thomas, a radiation oncologist, the centre offers supportive care for older adults dealing with memory loss, reduced mobility and chronic illness, with doctors and paramedics experienced in geriatric care.
The facility provides assisted living, palliative and hospice care, dementia and memory care, neuro-rehabilitation (stroke, Parkinson's and motor neuron disease), transition/continuum care and respite care. On-site services include 24-hour nursing with periodic monitoring, regular doctor visits, medication management under medical supervision, in-house laboratory services, nutritious homely meals, housekeeping and laundry.
KanCare runs two residential units in greater Kochi: one at Kakkanad (CSEZ) and one at Kangarappady (Ernakulam), with a combined capacity reported at around 60 beds. The centre has been operating since 2021.
