Marian Village is a senior citizen living facility located on an 8-acre (32,000 sq m) campus at Pampampallam / Kanjikode, near Attapallam in Palakkad District, Kerala. It is operated by Marian Charities, a charitable society that grew out of a small prayer group formed in 2000 and is registered under the Societies Act 1860 (Registration No. 488/2000, District Registrar, Palakkad).
The home provides accommodation to elderly people on both a paid basis and free of charge. Funds generated through various means are used to provide free accommodation, food, clothing, medicine and nursing care for poor and destitute elderly people, who are brought to the village by committee members and volunteers and cared for by nurses on site.
The facility has provision to look after 70 inmates and has received approval from the Orphanage Control Board, Government of Kerala, for taking care of 70 inmates. Daily prayers, weekly Holy Mass and monthly adoration are organised for residents, and the campus includes farming, plantation and gardening activities. The society has around 200 members governed by a 15-member elected committee.
