Shepherd's Valley Senior Citizens Home

Shepherd's Valley Senior Citizens Home (SVSCH) is a residential senior living facility established as a public charitable trust near Pampady, Kottayam, Kerala. It offers independent and assisted senior living alongside dedicated long-term palliative care for bedridden and chronically ill seniors, set on a green campus with walking trails, gardens and orchards.

The facility comprises 30 self-contained apartments across three floors (roughly 21,000 sq.ft total), with each 485 sq.ft unit including an air-conditioned bedroom, drawing room, bathroom, compact kitchen and balcony. Care is supported by round-the-clock doctors, trained nurses and caregivers, on-call specialist doctors through tie-ups with nearby hospitals, ambulance service, physiotherapy, psychological counselling, medication management, and a 24/7 multi-cuisine restaurant, plus housekeeping and laundry.

Run with a Christian ethos, the home also includes a chapel offering daily prayers, holy mass and retreats. Beyond elderly care, the organisation provides home-style care with nursing for intellectually disabled adults and youngsters aged 18 and above and supports their families.
