Sree Poornathrayeesa Vridha Sadanam is a charitable old age home at Puthiyakavu, Tripunithura in Ernakulam district, run by the Sree Poornathrayeesa Vridha Sadanam Charitable Trust. Founded on the vedic vision of Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam with the motto "Serve with Love and Affection", it provides a safe and dignified home especially for destitute and deserted elderly women (known as "Ammas"), generally aged 65 and above.
The home provides residents with clean accommodation, Kerala vegetarian meals with dietary attention, clothing, laundry and housekeeping, 24x7 nursing care, routine medical check-ups, hospital treatment coordination, counselling, and feeding assistance for physically impaired residents. Spiritual life is supported through daily prayer, satsangam and meditation programmes. The trust also runs free medical and palliative care camps and a women's welfare initiative, the Sthree Samrakshana Samithi.
The trust is registered with the Board of Control for Orphanages and Other Charitable Homes, Kerala (Reg. No. 525/IV/2013) and holds 80G tax-exemption and NITI Aayog registration. It offers long-term residential care as well as short-term and daycare options, and relies largely on donations to sustain its services.
