St. Mary's Old Age Home (M.G.M Charitable Trust)

St. Mary's Old Age Home is a charitable residential facility established in 1998 and operated by M.G.M Charitable Trust (Reg. No. Q285/99), a registered public charitable society founded in 1997 by Mr. Thomas P. George. It is located at Chittumala, East Kallada P.O, Kollam, Kerala. The home cares for senior citizens who lack family support, including those who are lonely, neglected or abandoned.

The home provides food, shelter, basic healthcare support, medication management, mobility assistance, personal hygiene care and a spiritual atmosphere, with caregivers, nursing personnel and volunteers assisting residents in daily life. Festivals, birthdays and special occasions are celebrated for residents. The wider M.G.M campus also operates St. Paul's Special School, a mental health development programme and Daya Disabled Home, housing 100+ residents across elderly, mentally challenged and differently-abled groups.

The Trust accepts donations (with 80G tax exemption), in-kind contributions of provisions, medicines and clothing, and sponsorships for meals and programmes. Visitors are welcomed during office hours with prior notice so staff can advise suitable timings.
