Travancore Foundation is a charitable trust formed on 17th September 2009 (Registration No. 310/IV/2009, Kottayam) founded on Christian values, with a vision to provide dignified, healthy and secure lives to seniors through person-centred quality care. Its flagship facility, Mission Valley, is a Platinum-status residential assisted living centre set on a 2.38-acre campus at Karukachal, near Kottayam in Kerala.
Mission Valley offers a range of care modalities including Independent Living for active seniors, Long Term Care for chronic conditions, Short Term Care with skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and Respite Care that gives family caregivers a temporary break. Residents are housed in elegantly designed units (Studio, Deluxe and Twin) with services such as daily meals, housekeeping, laundry, daily health monitoring, 24-hour hot water, recreational facilities and round-the-clock staff support.
The foundation also runs sister projects (Rahel Homes and Presidency Homes), geriatric care education programmes, and was awarded "The Excellence in Geriatric Care" by Deepika News Daily in 2021. It is a Great Place to Work certified organisation.
